Sinopsis: Vauxhall is pitched where voice and experience coincide. The poems sing and dance through heavenly mansions and real bungalows, tourist traps and museums, pharmacies and ven-ding machines. Vauxhall is a calendar. It’s an "all occasion" greeting and gift.Catherine Daly was a disk and video jockey in high school in Illinois and college in Connecticut. Her shows were devoted to cover, sample, mix, and mash of noise, novelty, and song. During commutes in California, she began listening to even more recorded poetry and to commercial radio. Her lifelong magpie habits are somewhat legitimized by her work as a general contractor specializing in restoration and her early work in her mother’s used clothing stores.
